About the Game
In Spill the Beans: Athenian Exile, players become Athenian politicians at risk of exile. The community has turned against past virtues, and survival depends on deception, timing, and knowing when to spill the beans—literally.
Each round, players secretly vote using black and white beans while bluffing through trait reveals. When someone ends the vote, beans are counted, and the most hated politician is exiled. One wrong reveal can cost everything. Designed for 4 players, the game blends historical storytelling with suspenseful physical interaction.

Developed the voting economy through extensive playtesting and numeric balancing
Defined the trait card distribution, bean counts, and voting phase logic
Collaborated within a 4-person team over a 3-week sprint to rapidly iterate and refine gameplay
