Project Overview
Unlocked Unknown is an immersive VR experience set within the tomb of the Yanroth—an alien species whose worldview centers on the belief that perception shapes reality. Though players remain rooted in a single physical space, the world around them continually reconfigures, revealing environments that blur the boundary between presence and illusion. Through shifting spaces and evolving visual logic, the project explores how belief and perception shape our understanding of space, identity, and existence.
Responsibilities
Responsible for overall creative direction, level layout, puzzle mechanics, and technical implementation.
Designed player experience through spatial progression and perception-based environmental interaction.
Developed narrative structure and lore elements grounded in the speculative alien culture of Yanroth.
Oversaw asset integration, lighting, and VR optimization in Unreal Engine 5.
Led a small interdisciplinary team of artists and engineers, managing production milestones and coordination.

Worldbuilding Process
Collaborated with the visual team to develop worldbuilding assets, directing their integration into the game's spatial and narrative framework through 2D concept sketches and 3D visual development.
